Registration for the European Summer Workshops 2024
Dear brothers and sisters,
This year, we are planning to hold three European summer workshops for Blessed Children & Jacob Children. We are happy to announce that we are opening registrations. As ESGD we have a longstanding educational tradition that has built a foundation of faith and community for many; this year we want our Development to go further and deeper – helping us all meet the internal demands of 2024 and beyond.
The SNR+ WS is designed for the 15-20 age group and is the developed version of our traditional European SNR HARP WS. The long-standing ODP+ WS is tailored for the 18+ participants. For the 22+ age group there will be the recently established ROOTS 22+ WS. On each of the workshops, we want to provide and create an environment where we can experience our authentic BC culture; in which we can reaffirm our identity and uphold our values.
We are happy to announce that the DONE programme (Mission One module) is offering a generous sponsorship of €30 per person for SNR+ WS and ODP+ WS. We are very grateful for this support, as an expression of care and encouragement for all Blessed families involved. Additionally, we would also encourage participants to look for further sponsorship opportunities in their communities to support their travel and/or participation fee.
Spending some of your summer at an ESGD workshop is a worthwhile experience and investment; you being present can be an offering towards maintaining and developing something of lasting value. We hope that you can also consider working and saving towards covering your own costs, and that you can prioritise being a part of building something good for yourself and others.
Each year, we rely on a large team of volunteers to support each workshop, and we warmly welcome you to contribute and serve this summer too. If you want to apply as staff, please select the ‘staff application form’. The final staff arrangements will be partly determined by the size of the workshops and the number of staff applications, so please do apply, but know that we cannot confirm all staff applications or arrangements until we have a clearer picture of registrations. We appreciate your patience and understanding.
Below you can find the description of the registration steps and a link to detailed information about each workshop. If you would like to attend a workshop, please fill out the registration form as soon as possible – you can benefit from the early bird fee! Please remember that spaces are limited. If you register early, it will help us to see the expected number of participants and prepare accordingly.

Registration steps:
- Register online – select the workshop you wish to apply for and fill out the relevant form.
- You will receive an automatic reply to the email address provided by you on the registration form. You can check that your registration went through. Please check your email including the SPAM folder.
- We will send you a confirmation email within 5 days to the same address provided at the registration. Please wait for the confirmation email before booking your travel!
